The 8C 2900B brought advanced racing machinery into the world of luxury motoring. A straight-eight engine with two superchargers and independent suspension at both ends sat beneath individually crafted bodywork. Clients could commission different coachbuilders, so the same mechanical family appeared in very different shapes.
