Behind the design
Alvis combined luxury with impressive speed in the 4.3 Litre. The company claimed its saloon was Britain’s fastest without a supercharger. A specially prepared tourer lapped Brooklands at over 115 mph in 1938, while customers could choose coachbuilt bodies from several British specialists.
