About the car

The Auburn 851 Speedster used a supercharged straight-eight beneath Gordon Buehrig’s spectacular boat-tail body. Introduced for 1935, it combined luxury styling with performance around 100 mph. It was one of Auburn’s final creations before the company stopped making cars the following year.
