About the car

The Ami 6’s backward-sloping rear window made a small family car instantly recognizable. Flaminio Bertoni used the unusual roof shape to preserve rear-seat space and a useful conventional boot. Beneath the distinctive body, the car used a two-cylinder engine derived from the 2CV.
