About the car

The Bagheera approached sports-car practicality in an unusual way: three people sat side by side. Introduced in 1973, it combined that seating arrangement with a mid-mounted Simca engine. Matra’s unconventional layout made it an intriguing alternative to the ordinary two-seater coupé.
