Behind the design

About the car

The number 1750 was a deliberate salute to Alfa Romeo’s famous pre-war 6C 1750. The newer saloon actually had a 1779 cc engine. Bertone designed a more spacious body on an extended Giulia chassis, giving familiar sporting machinery a more mature family-car setting.
