About the car

The Alfasud brought a different layout to Alfa Romeo’s small family cars: front-wheel drive and a compact boxer engine. Giorgetto Giugiaro designed its body, and production began in 1972. It was an important step in bringing the company’s sporting character into an everyday compact car.
